Mr. Paul Oladunni is the Chief Executive Officer of Space Tourism Society Africa, a leading platform dedicated to fostering public and private participation in space exploration across the continent. As a trailblazer in Africa’s space sector, he is driving the evolution of satellite commercialization, space tourism, and global collaborations to position Africa as a key player in the space economy.

 

Mr. Oladunni's expertise in satellite applications and Direct-to-Home (DTH) satellite broadcasting dates back to 2008 when he made history as the first African youth invited to a prestigious Satellite Conference organized by SES ASTRA AMERICON. Since then, he has been at the forefront of leveraging satellite technology for education, connectivity, and economic growth across Africa.

At the Landstronaut Satellite Conference 2025, Mr. Oladunni will share his insights on “Satellite Commercialization & Space Tourism: Africa’s Role in the Global Space Economy,” highlighting the immense potential for Africa’s infrastructure and technological future.

Mr. Paul Oladunni is the current Chief Executive Officer of Space Tourism Society Africa, a platform promoting public and private participation in space exploration across the continent. As a pioneering figure, Mr. Paul is driving the evolution and revolution of space exploration in Africa.

 

He is credited with creating the first space platform in Africa, which has successfully produced global leaders in the field. Mr. Paul, affectionately known as "Mr. Space," has fostered global collaborations that span across nations worldwide.

 

Currently, Mr. Paul is leading the development of the largest planetarium in Africa, located at Afe Babalola University. In 2008, he made history as the first African youth to be invited to a prestigious Satellite Conference organized by SES ASTRA AMERICON at the Eko Hotel and Suite in Lagos. This experience deepened his understanding of the evolution of Direct-to-Home Satellite Broadcast.

 

Mr. Paul Oladunni's passion lies in Satellite Commercialization and Application through Space Tourism, and he continues to pioneer innovative initiatives in this field.

As part of our milestone 30th anniversary celebration, the Space Tourism Society Africa is extending an invitation to African nations to join us in marking this significant occasion, fostering a stronger unity and cooperation in the space tourism industry across the continent.

 

We aim to leverage space tourism platforms as a catalyst for promoting education among African youth, introducing them to cutting-edge technologies and inspiring the next generation of innovators, scientists, and space explorers through interactive and immersive space tourism experiences.
